Meeting the Unique Needs of Vulnerable Women in Travis County
TRANSITIONAL FEMALE FOSTER YOUTH (AGES 18–24)
Aging out of the foster care system without a safety net leaves young women highly vulnerable to housing instability. Our transitional pathway program balances personal freedom with structured accountability. We provide an affordable, community-focused environment where young women can complete their education, secure stable employment, and learn foundational independent life skills alongside supportive peers.
Real-Life Independence Integration: To ensure our young women successfully bridge the gap to adulthood, our housing model features embedded independent living skills. Residents participate in hands-on, community-focused development inside the home, practicing essential daily proficiencies like personal budgeting, meal planning, and grocery management.
HOUSING STABILIZATION FOR UNHOUSED WOMEN
For women exiting emergency shelters, rapid rehousing initiatives, or transitional programs, our shared-living environments serve as an immediate, reliable "step-down" resource. Our structured settings drastically reduce relapse and re-entry rates into homelessness by providing a quiet, stable sanctuary where residents can focus entirely on long-term wellness, savings goals, and permanent housing tracking.
SENIOR WOMEN & DISABILITY FIXED-INCOME HOUSING
Finding safe, independent housing in the Austin real estate market on a fixed government benefit is an immense challenge. We protect elderly women and individuals navigating physical disabilities from housing cost burdens. Through our locked, capped Fixed SSI Financial Accommodation Policy ($800/month), we ensure that women reliant solely on federal safety-net benefits retain a permanent roof over their heads and discretionary income for personal health needs.
